Discipline: Sociology
Danielle (she/her/hers) holds a 1st Class BA (Hons) and Master of Research in Social Research at Distinction grade from the University of Derby and is undertaking a PhD at the University of Birmingham under the supervision of Dr Jason Schaub and Professor Paul Montgomery. Her PhD research explores intracommunity relations across subdivisions of LGBTQIA+ communities and consists of a qualitative metasynthesis and primary data collection via interviews with trans and genderqueer youth. She was a member of INQYR's ISTN cohort (2020-2022) and a key researcher during the UK networks INQYR research projects AutOnoME and QueerViBE! Danielle has also taught, lead modules and supervised students at undergraduate and postgraduate level on subjects including philosophy, research methods, sociology, gender and sexuality across a range of disciplines within multiple UK based Universities. She also has two cats, Fred and Artemis, to keep her company whilst working who she loves tremendously!
