I am a qualitative researcher of digital cultures of care and friendship, particularly among LGBTQ+ young people. I centre the role of young people's expertise in their everyday media practices, bringing digital media studies into conversation with public health research and practice. As a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Technology Sydney, I currently research LGBTQ+ young people's digital peer support for mental health.
