Yael Perry
Discipline: Clinical Psychology
Dr Yael Perry (she/her) completed her Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of New South Wales, and her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, under the supervision of Dr Aaron Beck. She is currently co-Head of Youth Mental Health at Telethon Kids Institute in Perth, Australia. Dr Perry conducts research focused on the prevention of mental health difficulties in marginalised young people, especially LGBTQA+ youth. She also conducts studies designed to provide education and support to parents and carers of young people with mental health difficulties. Dr Perry also has specialised expertise in the use of digital technologies to improve engagement, access and uptake of mental health interventions.
