"Like, I really enjoy like I really enjoy modeling. I think it's very fun. I really like doing it. But it's also like only in certain setting that I enjoy doing it and I think that my thing is like if I don't like doing it, then I am just not going to do it. You know, I have to love it, I don't want to half-ass do it unless I was like, I was thinking like going back to the agency and doing it maybe more intensely, but even then it's still just like I don't like having creative vision also, so much racism is a whole nother problem in the modeling industry, it’s like a lot of racism and it just like, wow, you really going to pay that white model more money, but not pay black models. That's for the same shoot, you know. I'm remember I canceled a shoo, some brand wanted to shoot me. And this brand has like 20k followers, like they're pretty solid, you know. And then, they were being weird. I was like, Oh, if you don't pay us, pay us in clothing you know. Give us all the clothing that we get to model in. Like if I'm modeling for commercial, like you're getting money, we're going to buy the clothes I'm wearing. I should also get money. And then this white model, she was blonde. And I was like, they are paying this white girl to do this, and I was like, no, so I cancelled on the shoot. I was like, no. This is not happening, so I just cancelled." – Rochelle David
