This guide will show you how to transfer game screenshots and video captures to a smart device!

How to transfer game screenshots from Nintendo Switch to a smart device through a wireless connection

  1. From the HOME Menu select Album, then select a screenshot or video capture.

  2. Select Sharing and Editing, then select Send to Smartphone.

  3. Select Only This One or Send a Batch.

  4. Using the camera on your smart device, scan the QR code displayed on Nintendo Switch.

  5. If the smart device is unable to connect to Nintendo Switch, try scanning the QR code again.

  6. If you are unable to scan the QR Code, this information may be helpful.

  7. Once the connection is established, the screenshots and/or videos will be sent to the smart device and the thumbnail(s) will be displayed on the smart device.

How to transfer game screenshots from PlayStation to a smart device through a USB

  1. Connect the USB storage device to the PlayStation

  2. Access the applications menu

  3. Select the Capture Gallery option

  4. Press the “OPTIONS” button on the PlayStation controller

  5. Select Copy to USB Storage Device

  6. Select the screenshot you want to share and click on the Copy button

  7. Click OK to start the copy

  8. Once the process is finished, remove the USB

  9. Connect the USB to a computer or other device

  10. Transfer the screenshot from the USB to your other device

  11. If applicable, send the screenshot to the device you will take the survey from

How to transfer game screenshots from PlayStation to a smart device through the PlayStation app.
Please note that this method is new; as of early February 2022, it is yet not available in all regions.

  1. Download the PlayStation app to your smartphone

  2. Sign into the PlayStation app on your smartphone

  3. On your PS4, go to the Capture Gallery app

  4. A pop-up should appear asking if you want to enable the auto-upload feature

  5. Select yes and allow the auto-upload feature

  6. Open the PlayStation app to download your screenshot

Alternative Option:
Take screenshots of your TV screen from a smart device

If you are unable to get screenshots off of your console, you can use a smart device to take a picture of the screenshots on your TV. To do this, you will need to open the camera on your smart device and take a picture of your TV screen. Be sure to follow the guidelines.

Guidelines

  • Make sure your reflection does not appear on the TV screen. You may need to move to the side and take the photo at an angle to avoid this

  • It might be helpful to close blinds/curtains or turn off lights to avoid glare

  • Turn off the flash on your smart device

  • Try to hold as still as you can when taking the photo

  • If the photo is not very clear, take it again.

How to transfer game screenshots from PlayStation to a smart device through a USB

  1. Connect the USB storage device to the PlayStation

  2. Select the Media Gallery app (this may be in the Game Library)

  3. Select the screenshot you wish to transfer

  4. Press the Menu button

  5. Select Copy to USB Drive

  6. Select Copy and press the X button

  7. Click OK to start the copy

  8. Once the process is finished, remove the USB

  9. Connect the USB to a computer or other device

  10. Transfer the screenshot from the USB to your other device

  11. If applicable, send the screenshot to the device you will take the survey from

How to transfer game screenshots from PlayStation to a smart device through the PlayStation app

xBox (English) | OneDrive

How to transfer game screenshots from Xbox to a smart device through OneDrive 

  • Go to the Upload app on your Xbox One

  • Choose the screenshot you want to share from Manage Captures.

  • Press the “Menu” button and choose Share.

  • Upload the screenshot to OneDrive

  • Access OneDrive from the device you plan on taking the survey from

  • Download your screenshot
