The snapshoT study invited gender diverse (transgender and non-binary) youth across the United States to submit photos about their online and offline lives. The study sought to enhance understanding of gender diverse youth across multiple identities, with a particular interest in their sources and processes of resilience. Participants shared photographs, illustrations, graphics, and paintings to discuss their online lives as sources of resilience and spaces of healing.
With the consent of the participants involved, we present a selection of these images and quotes as participants describe the work they've created and presented.
