Dr. Yael Perry (Chair, Australia Regional Network) is a Senior Research Fellow and Co-Head of Youth Mental Health at Telethon Kids Institute in Perth. Dr Perry is a clinical psychologist by training, and conducts research focused on the prevention of mental health difficulties in LGBTQA+ youth. She has expertise in the use of digital technologies to improve engagement, access and uptake of mental health interventions and has been involved in the development and implementation of several digital mental health products for young people. Dr Perry is actively involved in advocacy for LGBTQA+ youth, and sits on several local and national committees dedicated to enhancing evidence-based policy and inclusive practices in support of the LGBTQA+ community.
