Adam Bourne is an Associate Professor of Public Health and Deputy Director of the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society at La Trobe University where he leads a large program of research relating to LGBTIQ health and wellbeing. Current and recent projects include studies of peer involvement in suicide prevention and aftercare for LGBTQ people, the co-location of mental ill health and problematic drug use, and the experience and response to intimate partner violence among LGBTQ communities.
