Sam Martin

Dr Sam Martin (she/her) is a qualitative researcher. She joined the Medical Sociology & Health Experiences Research Group, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford in 2019. Her PhD research developed and evaluated QueerViBE: an online intervention to empower trans and non-binary youth using applied discourse analysis and interactive video tutorials. She has a background in LGBTQ+ psychology, supporting victims of crime, psychotherapy and counselling, and trans youth work. Sam will be starting as a Lecturer in Psychology at Birmingham City University in December 2022.
